Since 2012, we have launched a very extensive cartoon stamp series. The stamps were produced by Deutsche Post AG as stamp individual (Briefmarke Individuell), partly on roll, but mostly on sheets of 20 stamps.

Now, with the 2019/2020 edition, another 19 brands will be added. Thus, the cartoon series now has an impressive range of 47 different brands (here are the same motifs with different postage included). There are a total of 23 different cartoon themes. Most brands show postmen around the world carrying our packages. However, there are also five fish motifs and six supplementary stamps within the series.

In addition to the cartoon brands, a stamp with a QR code motif was also produced in 2012. This is the first and until today the only German stamp which shows a QR code.

The brand with the highests postage value in Germany is our "whale green" (2015 edition) with 915ct. Even the smallest postage stamp German stamp can be found in the same series. It is the supplement brand "unicorn" with 1ct.

The current issue features seven brand new designs, which will be used for the first time on August 1, 2019:

• motif "Unicorn", supplementary stamp, the stamp with the smallest possible postage value of 1ct., Produced on roll, self-adhesive, edition 1000 pieces
• motif "Dolphin", postage 220ct., Produced on roll, self-adhesive, edition 1000 pieces

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the company, two jubilee brands will be issued in 2019; the first edition is also on the 1st of August 2019:

• motif "Postman green yellow 15 years", postage 270ct., Produced on sheet, self-adhesive, edition 400 pieces

Some of the popular motifs from recent years have been reprinted with current postage values, which are available for the first time on 1 August 2019:

• motif "Blue Whale", postage now 235ct., Produced on sheet, self-adhesive, edition 200 pieces

The sought-after Easter brands will also be reissued. Here is the first edition scheduled for March 1, 2020:

Last but not least, the Christmas brands, which have been known since 2012, were also produced again; the first edition will be on November 1, 2019:
